Within the Department of Health and Care Services, full-time employment is the norm. This means that all permanent employees fundamentally have a full-time position. We are now seeking two licensed nurses for our short-term care facility. Would you like to work in a varied role where you can work both independently and as part of a team while contributing to high-quality care? Then you are the person we are looking for! We warmly welcome your application.
Svartbäcksgården is a short-term care facility with 58 care places. We work person-centered, and the health and medical care needs of our patients vary. Our patients typically come from the hospital but sometimes from home. You will be part of a large team of 10 nurses, where you will be responsible for 8 patients. We are committed to development and have allocated time for personal and operational development.
Job Description
As a nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to make a difference by contributing your skills, knowledge, and commitment with the user at the center. Your role will involve a variety of tasks within your area.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
• Assessing and planning the need for health and medical care interventions and evaluating treatment outcomes
• Supervising care staff
• Delegating health and medical care tasks to care staff
• Participating in team collaboration regarding users, for example, concerning fall risk assessments and Senior Alert
As a nurse, you will be part of the management team alongside other licensed staff and team representatives. Our ambition is for you to develop the operations and yourself in close collaboration with your colleagues.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• Swedish nursing license
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience with documentation and computer skills
• At least 1 year of experience working as a nurse
It is an advantage if you have worked with elderly individuals and age-related illnesses.
