About this role
At our specialist medical clinic, we meet patients daily with a wide variety of diseases. We offer consultations and treatments in several specialist areas such as oncology, rheumatology, neurology, hematology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, stroke, and general medicine. We also have nurse-led clinics in diabetes, rheumatology, neurology, stroke, and anticoagulation. Nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors work together to provide high-quality care.
We are now seeking two nurses for the specialist clinic in Söderhamn. Come and make a difference with us!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nurse, you will rotate across several of the unit's clinics, providing you with a varied and exciting daily work environment. You will closely collaborate with other professionals at the clinic. The role includes managing referrals, scheduling patients, and working in Min vård Gävleborg where you will receive and handle digital matters.
Your primary tasks will be:
• Scheduling appointments for doctors within the specialist clinic's services
• Telephone advisory and clinic work
• Sample collection and monitoring of test results
• Performing treatments on behalf of other clinics
• Assisting doctors during various examinations
We would like you to work certain shifts or one weekend per month in one of Region Gävleborg's round-the-clock services, based on your experience and interest. This provides an opportunity to broaden your competence and create valuable collaborations that strengthen both you and the team.

QUALIFICATIONS
For this role, we are looking for someone with good collaboration skills, who is attentive and communicative. You should be calm and accommodating in your approach and have the will and interest to help others. Furthermore, we seek someone who is independent and flexible in their work and can plan, structure, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
For this role, you must be:
• A licensed nurse
Experience in clinic work is meritorious, and we particularly welcome candidates with an interest in diabetes care.
