About this role

Make a Difference. Every Day. Are you looking for your next challenge as a nurse and want to be part of developing new working methods that combine service at both outpatient clinics and inpatient wards? Then this might be the job for you! We offer a stimulating and meaningful work environment where you'll develop new working methods alongside skilled colleagues, building our success through commitment and continuous development. In the Department of Endocrinology, Nephrology, and Rheumatology (ENR), part of Skåne University Hospital (SUS), we have the Rheumatology Outpatient Infusion Treatment in Lund, which is part of the Rheumatology Unit, and the Nephrology, Rheumatology, and Dermatology Ward in Lund (NRH). Both units provide regional and highly specialized care for their patient groups. The Rheumatology Unit has outpatient services in Lund and Malmö. Patients come here for physician visits, nurse consultations, infusions, rehabilitation visits, and complementary examinations with nursing assistants. As a nurse, you are a key person for these patients. With modern rheumatological treatment significantly improving patient prognosis, most patients are now managed through the rheumatology outpatient service. Continuous development is ongoing with medical treatment and rehabilitation efforts. Internal and external rheumatology training is regularly offered. The Nephrology, Rheumatology, and Dermatology Ward in Lund (NRH) operates 24/7 with 18 beds, where two teams (12 patients) focus on nephrology care and one team (6 patients) concentrates on a mix of rheumatology and dermatology. The ward operates using the Magnet Model. This model identifies nursing as one of the primary processes in healthcare, focusing on achieving excellent nursing outcomes through evidence-based practice, innovations, technology development, and patient partnerships. Both at the outpatient clinic and the ward, we work in an interprofessional and team-based manner with the patient at the center. We see this as essential for providing high-quality care. Both units have strong team cohesion and excellent collaboration between professional categories, where communication and teamwork are crucial to us. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are expanding our infusion services and are seeking a new colleague! The position is primarily located at the Rheumatology Outpatient Infusion Treatment (day shift) but also includes working at the NRH ward during two out of five weekends (day and evening shifts). At the rheumatology outpatient infusion unit, intravenous biological treatments, intravenous immunoglobulin, and chemotherapy are administered. As a nurse, you are a critical part of performing treatments and providing support to our patients during their visits. Our treatments improve patient quality of life, making the infusion unit a central part of our operations. As a new employee, you'll receive an individually tailored introduction based on your previous experience. Working as a nurse at the NRH ward involves typical nursing tasks. Some kidney patients have a dialysis form called Peritoneal Dialysis or PD, which is managed by nursing assistants after specialized training. As a nurse, you must also be familiar with this treatment method and will be offered training. (Continued in the next response due to character limit)
