The Specialist Psychiatry for Children, Youth, and Adults provides modern and specialized psychiatric care in collaboration with relatives and other healthcare providers. The Psychosis Clinic operates in new and fresh facilities, which include generous staff areas, a cafeteria, and a staff gym.
The Psychosis Clinic offers outpatient care for individuals with psychotic disorders as well as those with neuropsychiatric issues experiencing concurrent psychotic episodes, based on the Care Pathway for Schizophrenia. With a particular focus on first-time patients, we provide assessment, treatment, follow-up, and psychoeducation. We strive to strengthen patients' healthy aspects and foster good collaboration with relatives and other healthcare providers. Our work is based on a cognitive approach, accessibility, and a holistic view of the situation of patients and their relatives. In addition to nurses, your colleagues will include occupational therapists, social workers, doctors, secretaries, psychologists, and caregivers.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a nurse at the Psychosis Clinic, you will have an exciting and varied role. We work in teams, and our work takes place either at the clinic or in the patient's home. In your role as a nurse, you will be responsible for maintaining continuous contact and coordinating the interventions that the patient requires. A significant part of your work involves assessments and conversations with patients and their relatives.
We place great emphasis on motivating our patients towards a healthy lifestyle and conduct courses for our patients based on the recommendations of the care pathways. These include IMR, Mindfulness, NADA, psychoeducational training, NECT, etc. Contact and collaboration with the patient's relatives, family, municipality, workplace/school, and the Social Insurance Agency are significant aspects of the treatment process. We have an injection clinic for our patients every week, staffed by at least two nurses.
Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed nurse with a strong interest and preferably professional experience with patients suffering from psychotic disorders. You should be comfortable working independently, confident in making your own decisions, and capable of driving the patient's care process while being committed to developing care practices to meet the patient's treatment and care needs.
You are a team player who contributes your expertise to the work surrounding the patient and has a strong commitment to your job. Furthermore, you value good collaboration with your colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment. As a person, you are proactive and skilled at creating and maintaining good contacts with our partners, but you are also flexible and able to adapt to changing situations, enjoying a rich and varied day.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A valid driver's license (B) is required. Before an employment offer is made, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.
