About this role
Interested in Psychiatry?
Do you want to be part of a flexible, patient-centered organization? The Psychiatric Clinic offers rewarding and exciting clinical work, opportunities for skill development, and multiple career paths for all professional groups.
Our Offering
The Psychiatric Clinic in Linköping is a university clinic with diverse operations. The clinic includes inpatient and outpatient care, a detoxification unit, and an emergency unit. Additionally, we have mobile services, including a mobile outpatient team and pre-hospital emergency psychiatric mobility (psychiatric ambulance). You'll find our facility in the newly built Tinnerbäck House on the hospital grounds.
We are currently seeking a nurse for a temporary position in our inpatient ward S-80, which has 6 patient beds. Here, we care for patients who have been treated and improved in our other departments and require slightly longer care, such as medication initiation under supervision or continued stabilization before moving to temporary or permanent housing. We also accept planned admissions for eating disorder patients. Patients primarily have psychiatric issues, but somatic comorbidity is common, making medical technical procedures a part of daily work.
Do you want to work closely with patients in a safe and committed environment where you can make a real difference every day? We are seeking a nurse for a temporary position in our S-80 ward – a small, personal unit with six patient beds.
Job Description
As a nurse with us, you'll have a central and leadership role responsible for daily tasks and leading nursing care. You'll manage medications, participate in rounds and reporting, and collaborate with external actors in social planning. A significant part of the work involves working closely with patients and providing support based on individual needs. We have been working with a recovery-oriented and patient-centered approach for several years, focusing on the patient's experience, resources, and participation. This makes everyday work meaningful and developmental for both patients and staff.
Work Group
You'll become part of a cross-professional and engaged team consisting of doctors, nursing assistants, social workers, and occupational therapists. We value a good work environment where respect, safety, and community are central, and we emphasize open and permissive communication.
