About this role

**Area of Operation: Surgery** Welcome to the Hospital in Enköping – great care in a small format! Here, approximately 700 dedicated colleagues work in an environment where close collaboration and community are a given. We are located in an expanding region with convenient commuting options to Stockholm, Uppsala, and Västerås. For those considering relocating to be closer to work, the Enköping region has much to offer. The hospital provides emergency and planned care for about 72,000 residents in Enköping, Håbo, and Southern Heby, and we also have specialist assignments throughout Uppsala County. With us, you can make a difference – for the patients and for the organization – in a work environment where we continuously develop together. Would you like to be part of our team? A warm welcome to the Hospital in Enköping! **Our Operations** Here in the orthopedic rehabilitation department, a dedicated team has had the privilege of starting a new department together. We work from a person-centered and rehabilitative approach, which is the foundation of our interactions with patients as well as in the development of our operations. We are now seeking more colleagues who are passionate about teamwork, focusing on each patient's unique circumstances and personal goals. We are an inpatient department for patients with orthopedic diagnoses who require additional care and rehabilitation after, for example, trauma, fractures, or prosthetic surgeries. The length of stay typically ranges from seven to ten days and is adjusted according to the patients' needs, with twelve beds available in our department. Teamwork is central to our department, enabling a comprehensive view of the patient, individualized measures, and promoting patient safety. Together, we have daily check-ins within the team, which consists of: nurses, nursing assistants, orthopedic surgeons, medical doctors, junior doctors, pharmacists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers. We focus on healthy work schedules and hours, developing team rounds, person-centered care, daily management, and more. We strive to streamline discharges and actively work towards good collaboration with our colleagues in the rest of the hospital, Uppsala University Hospital, and the municipality. **Your Mission** As a nurse with us, you are a vital piece of our person-centered care. You will also be involved in continuing to develop the operations. The nurses here play a key role in the team and are involved in driving the development of this department. The goal is a nursing position where you, as a nurse, can influence your own, your colleagues', and your patients' journey within the hospital to be as safe, motivating, and stimulating as possible. **Your Qualifications** We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. We prioritize candidates with experience working in a hospital setting and who appreciate a varied job, want to influence and develop the operations, and are engaged and positive colleagues who contribute to a good work environment. If you enjoy working in a team based on a person-centered approach where the patient is involved in their care and rehabilitation, we warmly welcome your application. **We Offer** We offer a permanent position at 100% (or part-time) with a start date to be agreed upon. The work schedule includes days, evenings, and weekends. The Hospital in Enköping is a health-promoting hospital and therefore invests in wellness. This means you have access to a wellness allowance, a staff gym, and several free fitness activities. As a new employee with us at the Hospital in Enköping, you will receive a solid and supportive start to your career. Your employment begins with participation in KULE, our comprehensive introduction week for new hires, where we offer an interprofessional setup. Here, you will meet and collaborate with colleagues from various professional categories. For newly graduated nurses, we also offer an enhanced introduction for an additional three months. This includes reflective professional supervision as well as shadowing and coaching from our clinical adjunct. You will also participate in practical training at our Clinical Training Center (KTC), a safe and supportive environment to practice and develop your skills. We provide a dynamic and inspiring workplace where you can make a difference every day. There are also good opportunities for career development, with continuous further education and the possibility to advance within the hospital and Region Uppsala. We look forward to you becoming part of our team and contributing to making a difference in our patients' lives.
