The Oncology Clinic is a specialist care unit responsible for patients with surgical cancer diagnoses. It is part of the surgical clinic's various operations, consisting of three departments and three clinics. The clinic includes both physician consultations and day care treatment. Our catchment area is central and southern Dalarna. We provide oncological specialized healthcare in constant development, with increasing treatments and growing cancer care needs as cancer cases increase and many patients now live with chronic cancer diagnoses. In autumn 2025, we moved into completely new facilities in Building 09, which means we have a fantastic work environment. Job Responsibilities: The work involves working as a contact nurse at the Oncology Clinic. We primarily care for patients with urological cancer, breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, and skin cancer. It's an exciting, developmental, and flexible job where tasks vary daily between treatment, telephone consultations/administration, and physician consultations. Working at the oncology clinic means joining a team of happy nurses, nursing assistants, secretaries, resident physicians, and consulting physicians with varying levels of experience.
