Nurse for Healthcare/Psychiatry

Department Description Healthcare is organized in a joint Home Care Department responsible for services performed by nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists in both ordinary and special housing. We have close collaboration between units. Job Responsibilities As a responsible nurse, you will be responsible for healthcare interventions in care homes and psychiatric housing. You will primarily be responsible for care homes, but work will be cross-functional within the unit. The assignment includes coordinating good care and support for our patients, where you are part of the team working with the individual and their relatives. The role also includes mentoring the work team. We have a total of 25 nurses in the team distributed across different areas. We have close collaboration between colleagues and with the medically responsible nurse at the municipality. Qualifications Registered nurse, with advanced training relevant to the assignment or similar work experience being meritorious. You should be comfortable working independently but also able to work in a team with other staff, be solution-focused and flexible. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. B driver's license is required. Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is an administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is meritorious when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
