We are growing in line with the municipality's development, with more residents, more housing, and a wider range of services. We are always on the lookout for new talent - employees with diverse backgrounds and experiences, united by the common drive to create a better municipality to visit, live, work, and reside in.
Are you a licensed nurse with experience in short-term care and interested in being part of something new? Now is your chance as Rosenlund's new short-term unit opens its doors after the new year!
Your new job
As a nurse with us, you will be part of Health and Medical Care Team 4 and play a key role in our new short-term unit at Rosenlund.
Here, you will meet people of various ages and life situations who need care and support for a limited time. This can range from rehabilitation after a hospital stay to support at the end of life.
You will be responsible for both planned and emergency interventions and will work closely with primary and hospital care to create safe and individualized care. Our approach is person-centered, meaning we empower patients, give them the opportunity to take responsibility, and ensure a sense of security. We also work to promote health, which involves recognizing patients' resources and abilities, preventing health risks, and motivating lifestyle changes. By combining medical expertise with a holistic perspective, we provide high-quality care that enhances both health and quality of life.
As a nurse, you will independently make medical assessments and perform treatments and interventions. To ensure safe and effective health care, documentation is a crucial foundation of your work. You will mentor and teach nursing staff, patients, relatives, and students, and actively contribute to development and quality work to ensure care is based on science and proven experience.
During evenings and weekends, we share health care responsibilities across a larger geographical area. Your role also includes providing health care services in individuals' homes, regardless of their living situation.
Your qualifications
You are a licensed nurse, preferably with previous experience in short-term care with a municipal focus. Knowledge of digital systems used within the Social Services in Jönköping Municipality is considered an advantage.
The job requires a B driver's license as a car is used for work purposes. You have good command of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills. You possess good physical mobility since part of the work takes place in home environments, requiring you to adapt your approach based on the existing conditions.
As a person, you have a warm and empathetic demeanor and recognize each patient's strengths and opportunities. You are positive and flexible, and enjoy collaborating in a team with various professions, where everyone contributes to a good working climate and a shared goal – to provide our patients with the best care every day!
Your work is characterized by a strong patient focus and a respectful approach towards patients, relatives, colleagues, and other partners. You create security and well-being during examinations and treatments through sound judgment, knowledge, and attention to detail.
We place great importance on personal suitability!
We offer you
When you start with us, you will receive an introductory program tailored to your experiences and prior knowledge. We work with close and trust-based leadership, which gives you the freedom to independently plan and structure your workday.
