Workplace Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is the region's specialist resource for children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health issues and neuropsychiatric functional impairments. Together with other actors in the region, we are tasked with offering equal, needs-driven, and cost-effective care for children, youth, and their families. Collaboration with families and other actors such as schools and social services is a significant and important part of our work. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is a large workplace with approximately 200 employees from various professional backgrounds. We work in interprofessional teams and share responsibility for the patients assigned to our team. We keep the patient in clear focus. Reception 1 is an outpatient clinic working with children and adolescents living in the eastern parts of Värmland, which includes the municipalities of Hammarö, Kristinehamn, Filipstad, and Storfors, as well as parts of Karlstad. We are an interprofessional team consisting of unit manager, coordinator, physicians, nurses, psychologists, counselors, and healthcare administrators. Together, we form a cheerful group with a positive and open work climate. We are now seeking an additional nurse to complement our team. We offer varied work where we take joint responsibility for patients and leverage our different competencies. Your Responsibilities As a nurse at our clinic, you will play a central role in monitoring and evaluating patients' medication treatment, both through in-person visits and via telephone. You will independently plan and schedule your follow-ups - both your own patient appointments and times with physicians. You will be available for advice and support via phone and 1177 and contribute your medical expertise to the interprofessional team. The work includes making independent assessments of patients' well-being and situation, participating in treatment conferences, and, if needed, collaboration meetings with other actors. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are seeking a licensed nurse. A specialist education in psychiatry is meritorious. Experience working in psychiatry and/or with children and adolescents is considered advantageous. We are looking for someone who has good collaboration skills and enjoys working with others, while also appreciating independent work.
