**Job Responsibilities**
As a nurse with us, you will work with patients suffering from liver, stomach, and intestinal diseases. The work is varied and includes your own clinic with patient visits, follow-ups, and initiation of medication treatments. You will provide advice via phone and 1177 and participate in intestinal examinations at the clinic. In our day care unit, you will be responsible for infusion treatments, patient education, observation after minor procedures, and management of central access lines. This role offers broad experience and the opportunity to develop your skills over time.
**About the Workplace**
The Gastroenterology Clinic is part of the Medicine Clinic in Västerås and treats patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver. Here, we work on the investigation, treatment, and follow-up of conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, liver-related diseases, and other medical conditions requiring specialist expertise in gastroenterology.
At the clinic, you will meet a team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, and gastroenterologists. We work closely with other parts of the medicine clinic and collaborate daily with both inpatient care and other specialist clinics. Our approach is characterized by patient focus, structured workflows, and continuous development of routines and methods.

**Qualifications**
We are looking for a licensed nurse with experience in clinical practice. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with patients in the areas of liver, stomach, or intestinal diseases, and if you have knowledge of the Cosmic journal system. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
As a person, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks, with a good ability to structure, prioritize, and move work forward. You are flexible and easily adapt to changing conditions, while maintaining a service-oriented approach in your interactions with patients, relatives, and colleagues. We also see that you have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive work environment.
**Employment Conditions**
Temporary position for 1 year, with a chance for extension.
100%, daytime Monday to Friday.
Location: Västerås
