About this role

Make a difference. Every day. Do you want to work in a team characterized by community and joy at work? Then we might be the right workplace for you! At the gastroenterology department, we have fun at work! We are a gastroenterological unit that treats patients in need of highly specialized medical care within gastroenterology. Our patients have varying degrees of care needs, which creates diverse tasks and great opportunities for personal development. We know our patients well and strive to provide the best possible care, ensuring that all our patients feel comfortable. We are a close-knit unit with strong connections between professional groups and an open, positive work climate. Here, everyone is welcome as they are, and no question is considered silly. We foster a learning environment where we support our colleagues and work in interdisciplinary teams consisting of a nurse, nursing assistant, physician, medical secretary, and rehabilitation staff. The department includes a social worker who provides significant support to the care team and patients, as well as four specialized nurses, two of whom are nursing leaders who assist the rest of the staff in complex care situations and are responsible for improvement and quality development. In September 2025, we moved into the new Malmö hospital, featuring entirely new facilities and access to all the new technology that the hospital offers. We hope you will join us in contributing during this transition. Are you curious to hear more about what it’s like to work with us? Please contact us, and we will share more! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now welcoming a new nursing colleague to our team! With us, you will work alongside the interdisciplinary team to plan, execute, develop, and evaluate nursing interventions and the patient's health status. You will work based on the core competencies of care, focusing on teamwork, patient safety issues, evidence-based care, and improvement work to drive our operations forward. We hold regular improvement meetings where everyone's suggestions are welcome, and together we decide how to work towards realizing these ideas. We hope you will contribute and take an active role in the development of care methods and practices. With us, you will be offered: - A varied and independent job with significant responsibility - A workplace with great opportunities for development and education - A pleasant work environment with highly skilled colleagues - An exciting department with satisfied patients - A workplace where you have the opportunity to influence your working hours.
