**Our Operations**
The Lung Department 50 E2 is an inpatient department that is part of the area of heart and lung diseases.
The department has twelve care beds, where the care ranges from acute medical care to palliative care. The most common diagnoses include COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, respiratory failure, sleep apnea, and lung cancer. Our section, which is relatively small, is characterized by a good atmosphere, close collaboration between different professional groups, and short decision-making paths.
**Your Mission**
As a nurse in the Lung Medicine Department, you will play an important role; your daily work will enhance your clinical insight and your medical technical skills. You will encounter central venous catheters, arterial gases, cytostatics, drainage, patients with tracheostomies, and various respiratory aids, among other things. You will also have the opportunity to focus on the nursing perspective together with nursing assistants, doctors, and other professionals in the patient care team. If you have a special interest in documentation, student supervision, medication, CPR, or another area, there is the possibility to work with your favorite area alongside clinical work from the start.
**Your Qualifications**
We are looking for a licensed nurse. Experience with patients with lung diseases is an advantage but not a requirement.
**Your Competence**
You are a pleasant person who is interested in being part of a workgroup where open discussions are encouraged. You are a confident individual who maintains calm and focus regardless of the situation. You have a flexible and curious approach and good collaboration skills. The department offers varied and stimulating tasks for you as a nurse, with development opportunities whether you are new to the profession or have worked for several years.
**We Offer**
We offer a permanent position as a nurse, with the degree of employment being negotiable. It is a rotational position with evening/day and night shifts.
