Nurse for Lung Department 23B, Sundsvall

Lung Department 23B consists of 12 care beds and a clinic with extensive operations focusing on lung cancer, obstructive, and interstitial lung diseases. At the Lung Department, we primarily care for patients with various lung diagnoses. We are divided into three care teams and work closely with our department physician, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and dietitian to maintain continuity in our patient-centered work.
We are now seeking a nurse for Lung Department 23B. This is a permanent full-time position with immediate start or as per agreement.
Work Responsibilities
You will be part of our multiprofessional team. In addition to standard nursing tasks, internal training includes:
• Home ventilators
• Oxygen treatments
• Lung drainage
• Arterial blood gas sampling
• Palliative care
The position involves day/evening shifts and working two out of five weekends with a fixed rotating schedule. We use competence ladders to ensure, retain, and develop our skills to achieve set goals, provide safe patient care, and ensure excellent patient interactions.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who:
• Are licensed nurses
• Have excellent Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
