Job Responsibilities
As the responsible nurse for care, you will be accountable for both specific and general care. We in healthcare and social services believe we have one of the most rewarding jobs in Örnsköldsvik. You will play a central role in the team, working closely with other professionals with the resident at the center. Through your medical knowledge, we expect you to find solutions that create safety and added value for the resident.
You will guide staff and students, as well as provide support and advice to relatives. Together with your colleagues, you will work towards creating a meaningful day for the residents.
We currently work daytime and every sixth weekend. Within the municipality, you as an employee have the benefit of a wellness allowance and one wellness hour per week. We also collaborate with other units within the Health and Medical Care Department, such as Special Housing, home care, and the evening/night team.
Qualifications
You are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in the field. It is an advantage if you have supervisory training or other advanced education, for example, with a focus on psychiatry. We are looking for someone who can work independently but also has the ability to see themselves as part of a team.
You should have a strong commitment, a positive attitude towards development, and be attracted to situations that involve innovation and creativity.
A valid driver's license (category B) is a requirement.
