About this role
Make a Difference. Every Day.
As the Vårdval LARO (Law of Choice) concludes on April 30, 2026, the Adult Psychiatry Department in Kristianstad is opening a new clinic in Hässleholm. We are now seeking a nurse who wants to help us establish this new LARO clinic!
LARO (medication-assisted rehabilitation for opioid dependence) aims to prevent relapse, improve social functioning, and reduce medical complications, disease transmission, and mortality. Treatment is individually tailored and provided based on the patient's needs, respecting their self-determination and integrity.
The Adult Psychiatry LARO Clinic in Hässleholm works according to National Board of Health and Welfare guidelines, with a comprehensive medical commitment for patients with long-term opioid dependence. We provide medical treatment, counseling, care coordination and planning, psychological testing and assessment, and basic somatic care related to substance abuse and dependency issues. According to guidelines, treatment is also available for individuals with chronic pain problems. The clinic will have a team including nurses, social workers, psychologists, medical secretaries, and specialist physicians.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nurse, you will be part of the team and, together with specialist physicians, responsible for patient care and treatment. Beyond pharmacological treatment, we work with motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and group treatments based on patient needs. We collaborate with various psychiatric and somatic care actors, viewing cooperation with Social Services, Criminal Justice, Social Insurance, and Employment Services as essential to meeting patient needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
We seek a licensed nurse authorized to practice in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills at C1 level or higher are required. Experience in addiction care, interest in our target group, and collaboration skills are advantageous. Psychiatric specialist certification and/or CBT Step-1 competence are viewed positively.
Personally, you are humble, helpful, and always patient-centered. You are confident in your professional role, comfortable working independently, and see opportunities rather than obstacles. With strong ethical approach, willingness to participate in improvement work, and excellent collaboration skills, you will contribute to an open and joyful work environment.
We apply rolling selection in this recruitment process. We look forward to getting to know you!
