**Job Responsibilities**
The Upper Gastrointestinal Section works with diagnoses related to the esophagus/stomach, liver/pancreas, and bariatric surgery.
As a nurse here, you will work both independently and as part of a team. You will be present during difficult conversations and serve as the patient's contact and support throughout the care chain. The role also involves planning and booking appointments and providing telephone advice.
In the area of bariatric surgery, you, as a nurse, will play a central role alongside dietitians for this patient group. You will conduct your own consultations to assess patients prior to bariatric surgery and follow up afterward. Your work will include booking, planning, telephone advice, and some administrative tasks.

**Qualifications**
We are looking for a licensed nurse with a couple of years of experience in your professional role. You should be comfortable with computers and have experience and knowledge of the electronic medical record system Cosmic. Good oral and written skills in the Swedish language are essential to ensure patient-safe care.
Experience working in outpatient care and/or with surgical patients is an advantage.
As a person, you are confident and take responsibility for your tasks. You have a positive attitude towards your work, high flexibility, and good prioritization skills. You share our value of always putting the patient at the center and place great importance on creating positive interactions. You are meticulous, organized, and believe in delivering quality work. You collaborate easily and have the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Personal suitability is of great importance.
**Employment Conditions**
Permanent position, full-time. Daytime hours, Monday - Friday.
Start date according to agreement.
