The Health and Medical Care Unit is a team of nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists who work together with staff at our LSS operations run by the municipality. Your new job You will be part of a team consisting of nurses, care staff, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Your work will focus on providing good and safe care, strengthening and utilizing the customer's own resources. You will promote care that is characterized by both a health and medical perspective as well as good nursing. The role of a nurse within Österåker Municipality involves independently being responsible for health and medical interventions in the LSS area as well as in the nursing home. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for individual medical assessments, medication management, and care planning. Your work will include assessing, planning, executing, evaluating, and documenting health and medical interventions based on each individual patient's conditions and needs. Your role will involve maintaining continuous dialogue with relatives and providing information regarding changes in health status. The tasks are varied, and as a nurse, you will lead the medical nursing work. As a nurse, you will collaborate with colleagues, doctors, and possibly other internal and external contacts to ensure good care. The work requires high levels of coordination, independence, and good collaborative skills. You are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and support. The role also includes work during on-call hours. Your profile We are looking for a licensed nurse. You should feel confident in your role as a nurse and have a good ability to lead and guide care staff. You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. As a person, you are cooperative, solution-oriented, and unpretentious. You find it easy to empathize with others, listen, understand, and show consideration. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
