**Job Description**
In the role of midwife/nurse at Gynakuten, you will work with triage, daily operational management, telephone advice, blood sampling, urgent assessments, taking medical histories, referrals, and much more related to an emergency department. The position also includes rotation to our gynecological care ward. There is also the possibility to rotate to our emergency department for victims of sexual assault, with forensic training provided for all staff.
We are looking for employees for a long-term temporary position or a permanent full-time position that includes weekend shifts, at least 2 out of 5. We apply a new working time model that entails reduced working hours for those working three shifts and every other weekend. However, the unit has a fixed night staff, so night shifts are only relevant during vacations, other leave, and short-term absences. Hourly employment is also an option if interested.
We are a cheerful team working together with doctors and nursing assistants. On Thursdays, we hold training sessions for the staff.

You should be service-oriented towards both patients and colleagues and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. It is also essential to be strategic in organizing your work optimally for the day, as well as being structured and meticulous. Gynakuten is a workplace with a sometimes high flow of patients, many quick meetings, and personal attributes are highly valued.
- Licensed nurse or midwife.
- At least two years of experience as a nurse is required.
