About this role
Job Responsibilities
Do you want a job where you can work independently while being an important part of an engaged team? The Elderly and Care Administration is Sweden's largest municipal care and support provider.
We are now seeking nurses for our teams within functional support, a role where you will follow your patients over time and truly make a difference.
What does a typical day look like with us?
A workday always begins with collaborative planning alongside your colleagues. Here, you divide the day's tasks and review current events. This is followed by home visits to patients, where you meet individuals with both somatic and mental health needs in their supported living environments. Some days also include rounds, medication deliveries, meetings, contact with other healthcare providers, and collaboration in interdisciplinary teams. It is a varied and meaningful job with significant personal responsibility.
What is the best part of the job?
The flexibility and the wonderful colleagues around you! Here, you will be part of a work culture where we support each other and share plenty of laughter. You will encounter a diverse patient group, and since you follow them over a longer period, relationships and continuity are established. It is a job that challenges you and makes you proud.
As a nurse, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on healthcare interventions in consultation with the patient, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers. The work primarily takes place through patient visits at home and in daily activities. Our patients' needs range from preventive measures to advanced medical care, providing variety and development. You will work on a schedule primarily during daytime hours, but it also includes day/evening shifts every fourth weekend and one weekday evening every two weeks.
With us, you will receive:
• A tailored introduction to ensure you have a solid foundation to feel secure in your role.
• Continuous professional development focused on the target group.
• The opportunity to work long-term with patients, fostering deeper relationships.
• Flexibility, variety, and a safe working environment with engaged colleagues.
Welcome to a job where you can utilize your skills, make a difference every day, and have fun along the way. Together, we create the world's best city for a long and dignified life!
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed nurse. Further education in psychiatry or as a district nurse, as well as previous experience with the target group, is advantageous. We welcome both experienced nurses and recent graduates. A valid driver's license and driving experience are required, as you will travel to patients by car.
The role of a nurse requires you to independently overview, prioritize, and execute your tasks. Interacting with patients, relatives, and care staff is an important part of the job, so we believe it is essential that you are attentive and provide a good response. To deliver the best possible care, you also need to have strong collaboration skills, as we work in teams around the patients. Furthermore, you approach your tasks responsibly and can independently oversee, prioritize, execute, and follow up on your work.
