The position is located within the Health and Care Administration, which is one of eight administrations in the municipality of Linköping. The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health and medical services, regulatory activities, commissioning of services, and operates care and support in-house. Welcome to us! Your Responsibilities As a nurse at Fanjunkaregatan, you play a central role in the daily health and medical services (HSL) work. You work independently with medical assessments, plan and implement care interventions, and monitor changes in the residents' health status. The work is varied and includes medication management, wound care, assessment of vital functions, and sample collection. You continuously work in quality registers such as BPSD, Senior Alert, and the Palliative Register, collaborating with care staff to ensure safe and person-centered care. In this role, you also participate in rounds with doctors. You take part in multidisciplinary meetings and are part of the local management team, contributing to the development of work methods, following up on deviations, and ensuring quality assurance of the operations. As a nurse, you also serve as a support, mentor, and educator in daily work, and you are an important part of creating a professional and learning environment within the organization. Your Workplace Fanjunkaregatan is a smaller dementia care facility characterized by closeness, safety, and good relationships between residents and staff. Here, you work alongside nursing assistants, specialist nursing assistants, and other care staff in an environment where collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. You have close cooperation with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, coordinators, and the operations manager, and you are part of the local management team and the multidisciplinary team. Together, we work to develop routines, monitor quality, and create a good and safe care environment. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30. Who You Are We are looking for a licensed nurse in Sweden. It is advantageous if you have experience working or completing clinical placements in elderly care. We also consider it a merit if you have previously worked as a nurse, especially within municipal healthcare, but this is not a requirement. Since the work involves documentation and communication with patients and relatives, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken. You should also have experience with some documentation and record-keeping system. A valid driver's license (B) is required, as well as the ability to cycle. As a person, you work well with others, listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. Furthermore, you have the ability to lead and coordinate work by creating engagement and participation. You also understand how individuals absorb knowledge and can therefore adapt how you convey information to achieve common goals. In your work, you can plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks and easily adapt to changing circumstances. You make sound judgments and have the ability to weigh complex information and various considerations.
