About this role
Make a difference. Every day.
Are you a licensed nurse attracted to a role where you can utilize your relationship-building skills with recurring patients while also working with advanced medical technology? With us, you will have an exciting job in a team that values and supports each other's development.
Dialysis is an exciting field that is constantly evolving, where the interplay between medical technology and nursing is of great importance. Here, chronically ill kidney patients receive their blood dialysis treatment regularly. We also accommodate patients with acute kidney failure. To provide the best possible care for our patients, we maintain close collaboration between nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, biomedical engineers, and paramedics. Currently, we have about 65 employees.
Our unit is characterized by a workplace culture where we help each other succeed and grow. We value trust and empathy, which are essential parts of our leadership. Most of our patients are long-term, meaning we build lasting relationships focused on helping them achieve the highest possible quality of life by tailoring dialysis treatment to individual needs. Therefore, we are increasingly moving towards patient-centered care and involving patients in their own treatment.
- I would recommend working in dialysis as you work independently but still have the support of a humble group of friendly colleagues, says Martin, a nurse in the dialysis unit.
