About this role
Are you a nurse and want to work closely with patients in addiction care? Addiction care is experiencing an exciting development, and we need someone like you who wants to become an important person for our patients in their change process. Here, we work in interprofessional teams where attentiveness to each other's competence is a prerequisite for providing the best possible patient care. Does this sound like a position that might suit you? Then we look forward to meeting you!
Work Tasks
The work is largely independent, where you plan based on your own responsibility, focusing on patient visits and patient interactions. The team around the patient consists of doctors, counselors, nurses, occupational therapists, and psychologists, and as a nurse, you will have a central role in patient-centered work. An important part of the job is also to collaborate with other healthcare providers and actors in the patient's network.
Work tasks also include medication administration, conducting tests, ensuring care plans are written and followed up, and acting in a coordinating function around the patient. You will also provide medication follow-ups and give advice to patients, partners, and relatives. We work according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines for medication-assisted treatment.
