Job Description
As a nurse in the oncology treatment clinic, you will follow the patient throughout their treatment period, both during curative and palliative care. You will work independently as the contact nurse for your patients, allowing you to build a close relationship with them. You are responsible for planning and administering your patients' treatments, scheduling follow-ups, radiology, and more, and you will quickly develop your ability to make independent clinical assessments.
The treatment clinic also sees patients with severe or serious side effects after treatment, which often require urgent assessment and swift care. Your responsibilities will also include tasks such as blood transfusions, ascites and pleural tap procedures, and other urgent interventions.
Work Group
The work group is divided into four different sections based on diagnosis. You will work closely with your colleagues and the clinic's diagnosis-specific physicians. The position is within the oncology clinic, based at our treatment clinic. The treatment clinic is open during daytime hours from Monday to Friday.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with a few years of experience.
Since you will be in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
