Pediatric Nurse

At the pediatric department, we work with the entire family in focus, minimizing the separation of children and parents. It is an exciting job where we meet and care for children up to 18 years old and address the entire family's needs. Gävleborg was the first in the country to become certified for child-friendly care, an ongoing effort to improve the care of children and their families. WORK TASKS In pediatric and adolescent healthcare, we work together in a cohesive team where we collectively develop and evaluate our operations. We always work with the best interests of children and families in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and NOBAB standards. We also collaborate with other units involved in pediatric healthcare, such as maternity wards, emergency departments, and intensive care units. In the role of nurse, you should: • Be a licensed nurse with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare Experience in pediatric and emergency healthcare is meritorious but not required.
