Do you want to make a difference for children and adolescents? At the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic at the University Hospital, you have the opportunity to impact the future – every day. Our core activities include outpatient, intermediate, and inpatient care, as well as several subspecialized units. Ward S102 is the only child psychiatric inpatient unit in Östergötland. We have six beds and work with both acute interventions and planned assessments. Our Offer Ward S102 provides you with a secure introduction based on your experiences and needs. We implement mentorship with continuous follow-ups. The workgroup receives group supervision from a licensed psychotherapist, as well as “mirroring” where you can receive collegial support in your work. Furthermore, we view a willingness to develop positively, and there are good opportunities for further studies. Job Description As a nurse in Ward S102, you will work with what matters most – our children and adolescents. You will play a central role in the nursing work and become a key person in the team. The tasks are varied and include, among other things: • Leadership and collaboration with multiple professions. • Medication management, sampling, and educational meals. • Conversations with patients and parents. • Collaboration with residences, authorities, and care neighbors. Workgroup We are a positive and ambitious team consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, and psychologists. Together, we are responsible for ensuring that the care maintains high quality and is based on the individual patient's needs. About You We are looking for a licensed nurse. Experience in psychiatric care or health care for children and adolescents is advantageous but not a requirement. As a nurse, you need to feel comfortable using conversation as a tool and thrive in a varied work pace. Since you will be in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
