About this role
Nurse at Department 68 Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Falun
At Region Dalarna, you'll have a meaningful job where you can make a difference. Together, we work towards a sustainable Dalarna with development power in all parts of the county.
At our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) in Falun, you'll have a job that truly matters. Here, you'll meet children, adolescents, and families during an important life phase - where your commitment, security, and professional approach make a real difference.
Department 68 works with acute situations and short-term admissions. The child or adolescent is always cared for together with a guardian, and we actively work with the entire family and surrounding network.
We are currently upgrading the department to create calm, security, and a good work environment. We work based on the Safewards model, focusing on safety, participation, and recovery - for meaningful inpatient care. Exciting things are happening with us right now! We are also preparing for Mini Maria Dalarna, a new collaboration between BUP and social services to support children and adolescents with mental health and risk use. You'll be joining an organization in positive development and forward movement - where you can help shape the future of child and adolescent psychiatry.
Teamwork and interprofessional collaboration are the foundation of everything we do. Each patient has a dedicated team with a nurse, care assistant, counselor, doctor, and other professional groups. We take the time to truly see each child and family - and we help each other in our daily work.
Job Responsibilities
As a nurse at Department 68, you'll have overall nursing responsibility for our inpatient patients. You'll lead and distribute nursing work, triage on-call conversations, and be a secure point in sometimes unpredictable but always meaningful daily work. We are also seeking a nurse for BUP's day care, where you'll work with planned treatment interventions and close collaboration with family and network.
We offer a fixed schedule with every other weekend, providing stable and predictable working hours.
