The department has 17 care beds and receives patients aged 18 and older with diagnoses of psychosis, focusing on newly diagnosed psychosis. The work environment is good, with low stress levels and few heavy lifts, as most of our patients are mobile.
Psychiatry Northwest is a university clinic in the northwestern part of the Stockholm County healthcare area (SLSO). The clinic provides specialist-level psychiatric care in both outpatient and inpatient settings for adults. The clinic has approximately 550 employees distributed across eight care departments, three general psychiatric outpatient clinics, two psychosis clinics, four subspecialized clinics/units, and a mobile emergency unit.
Inpatient psychiatric care is continuously evolving, and as a nurse in the department, you will work together with the team on improvement and development initiatives to ensure high-quality care with the patient at the center. We are currently undergoing significant development in the department with the new assignment "Newly Diagnosed Psychosis," and you will certainly be part of this development with the opportunity to influence and shape working methods and the department. Job Responsibilities:
As a nurse, you have a central role as a team leader and serve as a role model in psychiatric care. You will work days, evenings, and weekends on a schedule together with nursing assistants, doctors, and paramedics.
We are looking for someone who wants to work with the patient group of newly diagnosed psychosis. A background in psychiatry is advantageous but not a prerequisite as long as you have an interest in the target group and inpatient psychiatric care.
You will be offered an orientation period to be able to work independently. Documentation is done in the Take Care journal system.

Qualifications:
You are a trained nurse with experience in inpatient psychiatric care. Psychiatric specialization is an advantage.

Employment Type:
Permanent position at 50%, night shifts. A six-month probationary period may apply.

- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language at a C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
