Department 14 Mava/Stroke at Motala Hospital is part of the medical specialist clinic, local healthcare in western Östergötland. We are approximately 35 employees who, together with the clinic, provide internal medicine around the clock to the population in the western part of the county. Our collective focus is to offer emergency care with good patient safety and excellent patient care. Department 14 Mava/stroke is an inpatient ward focused on internal medicine and stroke care, divided into two care teams. Stroke care is conducted through interprofessional collaboration between different professional categories in a stroke team. The goal of care is to provide the patient with a comprehensive stroke care process where emergency care is combined with early rehabilitation and good nursing. In the Mava care team, patients with various internal medicine diseases are treated, such as infections, endocrine, hematological, lung, gastrointestinal diseases, and chronic heart diseases. By working at Mava/stroke, you will acquire broad competence in both internal medicine diseases and stroke care. We continuously work with education and training, both large and small. Job Description As a nurse, you plan and lead daily nursing work together with the team in the care units and work to create a positive workplace climate. We can offer varied work that suits you if you want and can take your own initiatives. Previous experience is meritorious but not a requirement. Work Group At our unit, we work closely with our rehabilitation team, consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, counselors, dietitians, and as a nurse, you are an important connecting link for the patient's care during their stay. Our work group consists of employees with both longer and shorter experience in inpatient work. The group is characterized by job satisfaction, positivity, and a desire to learn. We offer the 90/10 working time model, which means you work 90 percent with full-time pay. About You We are looking for a licensed nurse. No previous experience is needed. Since you will work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, are required. We seek a team player with a sense of teamwork. You should have a good approach to colleagues, patients, and relatives. You focus on the patient's well-being and always strive to do your best.
