About this role

We are seeking you who are a licensed nurse with good Swedish language skills, corresponding to level C1. It is meritorious if you have specialized training in emergency care or are a district nurse. We are happy to see that you have experience working in emergency care, primary care, or as a general nurse. Knowledge of other languages, such as English, is also valuable. You should have good computer skills and preferably previous experience working in the journal system Cosmic. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You are stable and confident in your professional role, have the ability to adapt to different situations, and work independently with good structure. You also find it easy to collaborate and contribute to a positive and professional work environment. What you will work with As a nurse with us, you will have a varied and stimulating job that combines independence with close teamwork. You will work with advice via telephone, chat, and physical visits, and have your own scheduled patients. Your role includes receiving and assessing patients with acute medical conditions – ranging from minor complaints to potentially life-threatening conditions. These assessments are made both independently and together with physicians or other colleagues. Our health center is located over 200 kilometers from the nearest hospital, which means you will have significant responsibility and the opportunity to broaden your competence in both acute and general care. You will also play an important role in collaboration with other healthcare providers, such as the municipality and inpatient care. Primary care is characterized by encounters with people of all ages and life situations. Together with the patient, we follow health development over time, where a holistic perspective is central to every assessment. Our health center is located in a sparsely populated area with a large geographical catchment area – both towards neighboring municipalities in Norrbotten and Västerbotten, as well as towards Norway. We have under 2,500 listed patients, but also receive many tourists and car testers during the winter season. The workplace has approximately 20 employees from different professional categories, and ambulance personnel are integrated into the operation. We actively work to develop our methods to meet future needs in primary care. Working hours are during daytime and on-call service is included. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
