About this role

Nurse for Psychiatric Ward 3, Day/Evening Shift We are currently seeking a new team member. Are you interested in working in a general psychiatry department at the highest care level, where the focus is on developing patient-safe care and working in a team with nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and counselors? Then you should apply to us. We have a strong focus on development work for both patients and staff. Our goal is to maintain a good work environment, high patient safety, and patient satisfaction. There will be opportunities for personal development in psychiatry based on competence and interest. Ward 3 is a general psychiatric ward with ten care beds, four of which are acute care beds for patients with particularly high care needs. Six beds are general psychiatric beds. The patient group includes patients with both somatic and psychiatric issues such as mania, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. We often collaborate with the eating disorders unit and brain stimulation unit for potential treatments. In the future, we will implement Safewards on the ward. Job Responsibilities As a nurse on Ward 3, you will be a team leader responsible for psychiatric care, patient work, and typical nursing tasks. This includes: - Contacting relatives - Providing supportive and motivational counseling - Participating in rounds with doctors and discharge coordinators - Medication management and documentation in Cosmic - Conducting suicide risk assessments and evaluations of both psychiatric and somatic conditions - Developing, implementing, and creating routines for patient and team work in collaboration with the unit manager and colleagues Qualifications We are looking for a psychiatric nurse or registered nurse with: - Genuine interest in psychiatry - Holistic approach to patient care - Good self-awareness and personal confidence - Passion for self-development and teamwork - Strong patient focus - Ability to work closely with patients - Attentiveness and flexibility - Leadership skills and pedagogical approach to support colleagues and students Experience in psychiatry is meritorious but not decisive.
