The units for children and adolescents cater to children and young people under the age of 18. The operations have clinics in Ljungby and Växjö, as well as an acute service in Växjö. Continuous development work is ongoing at the clinic, and our operations are characterized by a strong focus on high-quality care. We believe in a positive approach and high engagement, which creates a stimulating and developing work environment with a high degree of participation and personal responsibility.
We are now seeking a nurse who wants to be part of our ongoing efforts to develop Region Kronoberg's child psychiatry in Växjö. Are you our next colleague?
TASKS
At the clinic, we work in interdisciplinary teams where you, together with other professionals, meet children and adolescents in need of specialized child psychiatric care. You will work both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues. As a nurse with us, you will primarily work with medication follow-ups, assessments, psychoeducation, and phone consultations. This position is currently focused on working with children and young people diagnosed with ADHD. In addition to clinic work, you will have the opportunity to work remotely part of your workweek. The job also involves close collaboration with, for example, schools and social services. The role requires the ability to build good relationships with the child’s/adolescent’s parents.

QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying should be a qualified nurse, and we prefer that you have further training as a psychiatric nurse or pediatric nurse. Experience working in psychiatry and/or with children and adolescents is desirable and meritorious. You should have a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A driving license is desirable.
