About this role
Are you a nurse who always strives to put the patient at the center and create value for patients and their loved ones through a holistic approach, person-centered care, and clear communication? Do you want to be part of a close-knit team that supports each other and learns from one another? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
About Us
The mission of the Specialized Palliative Inpatient Care (SPSV) is to care for patients in the palliative stage, with complex medical and/or nursing care needs around the clock. The goal is for patients, based on their circumstances and wishes, to achieve the best possible quality of life at the end of life. We care for individuals aged 18 and older, regardless of diagnosis, who due to their illness have a limited remaining lifespan.
Palliative care aims to relieve pain and other distressing symptoms, which can be physical as well as psychological, social, and existential. Palliative care is a form of care that involves actively implementing and evaluating measures for symptoms. If the measures are not satisfactory, we try new methods. This requires systematic work, competence, and experience. You will work interprofessionally in a team with nursing assistants, doctors, and paramedical professionals. We work person-centered and view the 6 S's as a valuable tool.
