About this role
Do you want to work as a nurse in a workplace where community, laughter, and engagement are an integral part of everyday life? We are looking for someone who wants to join our team in emergency care and contribute to safe care for our geriatric patients. Here, you will work alongside dedicated colleagues in a multidisciplinary team, where we strive every day to provide the best possible care and quality of life. We warmly welcome your application!
**Job Responsibilities**
As a nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to work with a patient group where the medical conditions are often complex and must be addressed based on each patient's unique life history. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that works together to provide our patients with the best possible care and quality of life.
Our patients primarily come to us via the emergency department or are transferred from the hospital's acute medical care unit. As a nurse, you will be responsible for and lead the nursing work, which often consists of specific nursing interventions. These interventions can be either curative or palliative. The medical aspect is also a significant part of the job, which includes medication administration and various medical technical procedures, as well as the ability to interpret the patient's various symptoms and parameters. We who work here are motivated by the opportunity to work independently, but we also appreciate having competent and engaged colleagues to support us within the team.
**What Our Employees Appreciate Most**
Many of our employees highlight the team spirit, collaboration, and support as the best aspects of the job. There is care, commitment, and knowledge here, and newcomers feel welcome. We enjoy working together – with laughter, community, and joy as a natural part of everyday life.
**About the Workplace**
The department consists of three teams, and our nurses, together with nursing assistants, are responsible for 8 patients on the acute side, every day of the week. On the rehabilitation side, the nurse is responsible for 15 patients as we collaborate with rehabilitation medicine. The multidisciplinary team consists of a nurse, doctor, nursing assistant, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, and social worker. Our workplace is characterized by our commitment to the elderly patient and patient safety. We have a good working environment where we help and support each other. At the end of each shift, we evaluate both patient safety and the working environment using the Teamtempen tool. These evaluations form the basis for our continued efforts to maintain and develop both patient safety and our working environment.
For us, it is important that you feel good and thrive at work, which is why we offer you:
• A tailored orientation program to help you feel secure in your professional role
• Opportunities for professional development through, for example, internal training
• A workplace for different stages of life, with the possibility of flexible working hours within certain frameworks
• Free access to our fully equipped gym
• Wellness allowance of 3000 SEK/year

Since the role requires you to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, relatives, and colleagues, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
As a person, you are confident, stable, and possess good self-awareness. Since the work can change rapidly in various ways, you need to be flexible and able to maintain your calm and focus in new situations. You have a good ability to structure your work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. We work in teams and see collaboration and clarity as very important ingredients for success.
