Nurse Night Shift, Ward 94 Cognitive Section, USÖ
Job Responsibilities
Ward 94 is part of the cognitive section of the Geriatric Clinic. Here, we conduct investigations, treatments, and specific nursing care for patients with acute confusion states, memory impairment, dementia, and behavioral and psychological symptoms associated with dementia (BPSD). Many of our patients also suffer from somatic conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, infections, neurological diseases, various acute conditions, as well as patients with palliative care needs. The team at Ward 94, consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and social workers, all have a genuine commitment and interest in our patients - we see the whole person and their needs! We offer you a varied and stimulating job where you, as a nurse, have great opportunities to develop in your professional role and to influence and contribute with your previous experiences. As a newly hired employee, you will receive a personalized introduction from experienced and competent colleagues. As a night nurse, you will be responsible, together with two nursing assistants, for the care of our 10 patients. We plan to open two additional care places in the department during the winter. Qualifications
Licensed nurse. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and experiences.
