Nurses working in municipal healthcare are a large group characterized by high competence, where we have the opportunity to utilize the breadth of our knowledge. During on-call hours, nurses work throughout Borlänge municipality, with visits primarily in home healthcare and special care facilities. This makes the work very varied, enjoyable, and challenging. Beyond our vision of being Sweden's most pleasant city, we have a value foundation that is a shared platform for everyone working in Borlänge municipality: · I am here for Borlänge residents · I enjoy challenges · I meet every person with openness JOB RESPONSIBILITIES During night on-call hours, three nurses together are responsible for special care facilities, home healthcare, disability care, and social psychiatry. Matters from the Region, such as 1177 and ambulance services, may also occur. You will make both planned and unplanned visits during your shift, ensuring no two nights are the same. Night shift nurses operate from our on-call location in Borlänge city center, covering the entire municipality. You will encounter various medical-technical equipment, making the work stimulating and educational. Palliative care is common and a crucial part of our operations, which also works with NVP (national palliative care plan). Advising and collaborating with care staff is a significant part of the job. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking an experienced nurse who is confident in their professional role. You must have a nursing license, and previous experience in municipal healthcare is advantageous. Very good oral and written Swedish skills are required. A B driver's license is mandatory as nurses drive throughout the municipality during on-call hours. Additionally, you should be a person who focuses on patient care, can adapt to the needs of operations and patients, plans and prioritizes, and strives to maintain good collaboration and communication with everyone you may encounter during your shift.
