About this role

Optalmica Eye Clinic provides eye care in modern, functional, and fresh facilities in Täby Centrum. We operate on behalf of Region Stockholm, as well as on a private basis. We offer general eye consultations, cataract surgeries, and vision-corrective surgeries. We are currently seeking a nurse who will also take on the role of site manager. We have recently been awarded a larger assignment in Region Stockholm (geographical area northeast of the City). The decision is currently under review, and we are awaiting the court's ruling, but in parallel, we are planning for a significant expansion of our operations. The role includes responsibilities within our current care choice assignment and, when the new assignment according to the Public Procurement Act (LoU) begins, also in the upcoming expanded operations. The person in this role will assist the operations manager in running the daily operations, participate in the planning of the expansion, and work clinically as a nurse in surgery, currently about three days a week. Our team currently consists of an operations manager, optometrists, nurses, nursing assistants, and ophthalmologists. As the expanded assignment commences, we will further strengthen the team to meet the future needs of the organization. We are a close-knit team that enjoys working together and having fun at work. We maintain a strong collaboration among all different roles at the clinic and between Optalmica's various clinics. We operate according to established, company-wide routines and processes. You are a licensed nurse who enjoys your profession and may have some experience in staff planning. You are a good team player, unpretentious, positive, curious, and attracted to working in a private clinic in new, fresh facilities, and being part of building a larger operation within the next year. You should be meticulous and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You should be willing to work clinically a few days a week. If you are a surgical nurse or have experience in surgery, that is an advantage. However, we will provide training if needed. It is also beneficial if you have some leadership experience. You may dream of more responsibility and see this as a great opportunity.
