Dalbyhemmet is a residence with one department focused on dementia and another on social psychiatry. We are currently seeking a nurse who will primarily work in social psychiatry. The nurses at Dalby collaborate and assist each other across both departments based on needs.
At Dalbyhemmet, you will work in an environment that incorporates animals and nature as part of the care. Our cats, rabbits, and chickens bring great joy to both residents and staff.
We are looking for a nurse for a permanent position based at Dalbyhemmet for approximately one year, after which the placement may change following discussion.
Job Description
As a nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to make a difference by placing the user at the center and contributing your skills, knowledge, and commitment. Your role will involve a variety of tasks within your area of expertise.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and planning the need for health and medical services (HSL) and evaluating treatment outcomes.
- Supervising care staff.
- Delegating HSL tasks to care staff.
- Participating in team collaboration regarding users, for example, concerning fall risk assessments and Senior Alert.
As a nurse, you will join other licensed professionals and team representatives in the management group led by the operations manager. Our ambition is for you to develop the organization and yourself in close collaboration with your colleagues.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed nurse. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as computer skills and experience with documentation.
Experience working with elderly individuals and age-related illnesses, as well as in psychiatry/social psychiatry, is an advantage.
You adapt easily to changing circumstances and can quickly adjust both your perspective and approach. Changes are seen as opportunities. Goals and results are clear driving forces. Prioritization, planning, and actions are guided by what needs to be achieved, and the focus is adjusted as goals change. Collaboration works well; you engage with others in a responsive and flexible manner, communicate openly, and handle conflicts constructively.
You make decisions even when information is limited or circumstances are challenging, maintaining sound judgment under time pressure. In both small and large contexts, you express yourself clearly, articulately, and passionately. At the same time, you listen to the other party and adapt your communication to the situation.
