Then a position at our clinic is perfect for you! About Us The ENT department is a relatively small unit with approximately 130 employees and a high patient turnover, around 35,000 per year. Our team includes nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, dietitians, speech therapists, anaplastologists, and medical secretaries working closely together. We care for patients of all ages, from emergency care to outpatient services for patients with head and neck cancer. We have a collaborative atmosphere where we all support each other and share our knowledge for the best possible patient care. What Can We Offer You? We can offer a varied and qualified role for you as a nurse. We have emergency services, scheduled outpatient clinics (either independently or in teams with other professional categories), telephone consultations, and contact nurse assignments. We can also provide opportunities for research. You will work weekdays during daytime hours. If you work as a contact nurse, training will be provided during work hours. About You We are looking for a licensed nurse. Experience in ENT care or cancer care is an advantage. To thrive with us, you should enjoy a varied work environment, feel confident in your professional role, and be comfortable working with acutely ill patients. Together for the Patient - Sahlgrenska University Hospital As a newly graduated nurse, you will be part of the Clinical Foundation Year, which is our introductory program. The Clinical Foundation Year is mandatory and lasts for the first year of your employment with us. It includes lectures, nursing supervision, and practical training at the Simulation Center. Additionally, you will have assignments in at least two different departments to broaden your competencies. In the event of recruiting nurses/doctors with foreign licenses/specialist certificates, the position will be preceded by a process to meet the requirements for Swedish licenses/specialist certificates.
