About the Job
Your responsibilities at the health center span a wide range of tasks and cover the field of general medicine, where you will meet patients of all ages and situations. You will work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via telephone, home visits, digital consultations, and in the clinic.
The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will largely work independently with your own clinic for diabetes patients, where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally within the team, as well as with other stakeholders such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you will be responsible for developing and advancing the operations. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so mentoring students is also included in your role at the health center.
About You
You are a licensed nurse, preferably with additional training in Diabetes of at least 15 higher education credits. Previous experience as a Diabetes nurse and/or within regional primary care is also an advantage.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making independent decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.
In your work, you will meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and willing to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and in-person visits at the clinic. We appreciate an interest in digitalization and operational development.
A professional approach and a positive attitude towards customers, patients, and colleagues are essential for you. We also expect you to embody Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.
Other Information
Travel may be required for the position, so a valid driver's license (B) is advantageous. Interviews at the health center will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
Welcome with your application!
About the Recruitment Process
Selection will occur in two stages. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department, who will invite relevant candidates for a phone interview. Following this, the hiring manager will make a second selection from the applicants and invite them for an interview at the health center.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that responses to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
