Within the Department of Health and Care Services, full-time employment is the norm. This means that all permanent employees fundamentally have a full-time position. Bernadotte is a modern nursing home in Valsätra, featuring spacious communal areas, a private garden, and proximity to nature. Valsätra is located 6 kilometers south of Uppsala city center and is a popular residential area with good bus connections to the city.
As a nurse with us, you play a vital role in providing care and support at our special housing facility in Uppsala Municipality. The position is a permanent employment with placement at Bernadotte. There may also be opportunities to work full-time at one of our other special housing facilities. We see this as a chance for you to broaden your experience and grow within our organization. Job Description
The work as a nurse is varied and includes everything from medication management, wound care, and catheter changes to prescribing medical technical products or issuing certificates and working with Senior Alert and deviations. You will conduct rounds one to two times a week and also participate in regular team meetings and quality councils. With us, no two days are alike. You will learn new things and expand your skills. Here, you have the opportunity to influence, improve, and shape our operations!
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed nurse with strong proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. A driver's license is also an advantage. As a person, you see opportunities in changes and adapt to evolving circumstances. You take responsibility for your tasks and structure your approach independently. Furthermore, you find it easy to collaborate with others and adjust your communication based on your audience.
