Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered under a common administration and organized into regional and local healthcare areas. The local healthcare area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, the Center for Surgical Operations, the Medical and Geriatric Clinic, the Rehabilitation Center, the Psychiatric Clinic, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these services aim to provide good and accessible care.
The Psychiatric Clinic consists of approximately 250 employees. Here, both outpatient and inpatient care, as well as involuntary psychiatric care, are provided. The outpatient care includes an Emergency and Assessment Unit, which encompasses eating disorder services and the SPOT program, two adult clinics targeting individuals aged 26 and above, the Young Adults clinic for ages 18-25, as well as a medical unit, an MBT team, and an elderly team. The inpatient care consists of a general psychiatric ward and a dependency ward with an associated detoxification unit. The dependency care also includes outpatient services, a LARO clinic, and a dual diagnosis team.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are now seeking licensed nurses for the dependency ward. The responsibilities will include various nursing tasks such as medication administration, sample collection, assessments, conversations including motivational interviewing and relapse prevention, as well as being a contact person for a number of patients.
As a nurse with us, you will have a broad nursing perspective with the patient at the center.
You will work in close collaboration with other staff within the unit, relatives, and healthcare partners.
We offer you an individually tailored onboarding process based on your needs, with continuous follow-up after the introductory period. We want everyone to feel secure in their work role and will do what is necessary to ensure you feel safe. Therefore, we have our own mentoring program at the clinic where we assign an experienced nurse to be your mentor as a new employee.
QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed nurse, further education in psychiatry, and experience in dependency care are advantageous.
Valuable qualities in you include teamwork ability, flexibility, and the capacity to work both independently and in a team.
You are interested in improvement work and have a strategic ability to meet the expectations that the dual diagnosis investigation will entail.
