About Us Närhälsan Götene Healthcare Center is one of Västra Götaland Region's publicly operated healthcare centers with approximately 10,200 listed residents. About the Position Your tasks at the healthcare center span a broad field covering general medical areas where you will meet patients of all ages and in various situations. You will work in primary care, providing health promotion, advisory, and treatment services via telephone, home visits, digital consultations, and in-person appointments. The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will work largely independently, managing your own diabetes patient clinic, where you will triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues within the unit and in interprofessional teams, as well as with other stakeholders like home healthcare and specialized medical services. Together with the healthcare center management, you will be responsible for developing and driving the organization forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervising students will also be part of your role. About You You are a licensed nurse. Previous experience in primary care is meritorious, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates. We seek someone with an interest in diabetes. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is comfortable making independent decisions, and is thorough with strong problem-solving skills. You can effectively prioritize your tasks. As you will interact with many patients, it is crucial that you are accommodating, attentive, and eager to help others. We believe you will enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You should communicate well verbally and in writing, be an engaged and good listener during digital meetings and in-person appointments. We appreciate an interest in digitalization and organizational development. A professional approach and excellent interpersonal skills with customers, patients, and colleagues are essential. The first selection is made by HR recruiters who will conduct phone interviews. The hiring manager will then make a second selection and invite candidates for an in-person interview at the healthcare center.
