About the Job The Healthcare Alarm Center was established in 2017 and is part of the Västra Götaland Region. The alarm center works with assessment and prioritization of medical cases via 112, as well as coordinating patient transport and ambulance helicopter resources. Our mission is to ensure patients receive the right care at the right level with the right resource at the right time, which can involve ambulance, ambulance helicopter, patient transport, or referral to medical transportation. We work in teams, including triaging incoming 112 calls where we follow up on patients waiting for resources (ambulance, mobile primary care teams, etc.). We also coordinate ambulances, helicopters, and patient transport to allocate appropriate pre-hospital resources. The operation runs 24/7, and for this position, we are seeking nurses who can work day, evening, and weekend shifts. About You We are looking for a licensed nurse with three years of professional nursing experience. As a person, we seek someone who is structured, clear, stress-resistant, with good multitasking capacity, collaboration skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. You should speak Swedish fluently in both written and spoken form and have good English skills. Additional language skills are considered a plus. It is important that you are comfortable working with technical tools like IT and telephony, as you will work in an advanced high-tech environment. Experience with CoordCom, Alitis, SAFE, or other alarm center systems is advantageous. Previous pre-hospital experience and proficiency with office software are also appreciated.
