Welcome to our Endoscopy Unit in Jönköping!
Nursing Role
At our endoscopic unit, we perform examinations such as gastroscopies, colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, and bronchoscopies. We also conduct more advanced examinations like ERCP and EBUS. Your tasks will include assisting with endoscopic examinations. You will work with technical equipment in a role that is both independent and team-oriented. As a nurse, you will also administer medications for procedures that require them, including administering sedatives.
Your Future Workplace
The Endoscopy Unit is a department at Ryhov County Hospital. Here, you will work alongside operating room nurses, anesthesia nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, and healthcare administrators. The department is responsible for the hospital's endoscopic activities, involving collaboration with both surgical and medical clinics.
Your Profile
We are seeking a licensed nurse with several years of experience, preferably with previous endoscopy experience. While endoscopy experience is preferred, it is not a requirement. We are looking for someone interested in technology and eager to develop and learn! As a person, you are stable, structured, and remain calm in potentially acute situations. You demonstrate good judgment and have excellent collaboration skills. We place great importance on personal suitability.
