About this role

Närhälsan offers high-quality primary care close to home. With hundreds of clinics in Västra Götaland, we are near residents throughout their lives and make a difference for their health. We value you and offer development throughout your professional career. About us Närhälsan Tranemo Health Center is a medium-sized clinic with just over 6,300 registered patients, located in a rural area with Tranemo as the central locality. You will be offered a position in a pleasant workplace with 25 dedicated and knowledgeable colleagues. The health center features doctor- and nurse-led outpatient services, telephone counseling, nurse-led specialist clinics, child health care, a mental health clinic, a very well-functioning laboratory, and proximity to rehabilitation services. We provide a positive work environment where great emphasis is placed on creating conditions for collaboration and learning. Together, we work to develop the health center and meet future needs, particularly in the digital area. We aim to make a difference for residents and strive for good accessibility, high quality, and always the best service. Please read more about the benefits and advantages we offer at Närhälsan: Link to our website. About the job Your responsibilities at the health center span a wide range of tasks within the field of general medicine, where you will meet patients of all ages and situations. You will work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via telephone, home visits, digital consultations, and at the clinic. The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will largely work independently with your own clinic for asthma/COPD patients, where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration will occur with your colleagues in the unit and across the multidisciplinary team, as well as with other stakeholders such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you will be responsible for developing and advancing the operations. Training future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so mentoring students will also be part of your role at the health center. About you You are a licensed nurse with advanced training in asthma/COPD of at least 15 higher education credits. Previous experience as an asthma/COPD nurse and/or in primary care is advantageous, but we also welcome recent graduates. We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making independent decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize your tasks. In your work, you will meet many patients, so it is important that you are approachable, attentive, and willing to help others. We believe you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and in-person consultations. We would also like to see an interest in digitalization and operational development. A professional approach and a good attitude towards customers, patients, and colleagues are self-evident for you. We also expect you to embody Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative. Other Interviews at the health center will be conducted on an ongoing basis. We welcome your application! About the recruitment process Selection occurs in two stages. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department, who will invite relevant candidates for a telephone interview. Following this, the recruiting manager will make a second selection from the applicants and invite them for an interview at the health center. We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized responses—this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
