Do you want to help make a difference in healthcare? Welcome to Internal Transport! Our mission is to support service operations with trained temporary staff who can cover vacancies during short or long-term absences of regular personnel. The position involves working as an hourly employee in Regional Services, which means supporting various departments with your skills in daily work. This is a job that offers great variation and diversity.
JOB DUTIES
We offer hourly employment as a base. This means the number of working hours per week may vary.
As a hospital transporter, your tasks may include: internal transport of patients, mail, samples, food, and goods to various hospital departments. Transportation of deceased persons may also occur.
Work takes place in a hospital environment, and you will work alongside nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants. In your daily work, you will also interact with patients in the facilities.
Since our operations run Monday through Sunday, working hours may include weekend, evening, and night shifts. Work times can start as early as 6:30 AM.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for candidates who are at least 18 years old and computer-literate. The position requires very good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written communication.
Experience and education in transportation are advantageous. Additionally, having a B driver's license, truck license A and D1 is considered a plus.
We seek someone who is passionate about providing excellent service and wants to help create a good and pleasant healthcare environment for patients in Skåne. A warm approach and high service level are crucial for a patient's hospital stay. Therefore, we want you to be positive, accommodating, and have a genuine interest in service work.
