Sjölins Gymnasium has been educating students through case methodology since 2000, and today we have approximately 230 employees and 3,000 students across our five high schools.
About Sjölins Gymnasium Vasastan
Sjölins Gymnasium Vasastan, established in 2017, offers three college preparatory programs: Social Science, Natural Science, and Economics programs. We are an independent school centrally located in Vasastan in modern, bright facilities. The school is situated on Campus Vasastan and currently has around 800 students and 45 employees.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a licensed teacher qualified to teach Chemistry at the high school level, preferably in combination with another subject such as Physics, Natural Sciences, or Mathematics. Previous high school teaching experience is desirable. We value goal-oriented candidates with strong pedagogical skills who can inspire and engage our students.
We seek someone passionate about education with a strong willingness to collaborate across subject boundaries. You are an engaged and independent teacher who thrives working with reality-based learning and case methodology. You have the ability to inspire and motivate students. What We Offer
As an employee, you'll work closely with colleagues in program teams, with approximately half of our courses/subjects working on interdisciplinary cases. Since 2019, we've collaborated with a Harvard Business School professor to further strengthen our methodology. Modern languages are not included in our cases, but you're welcome to incorporate your teaching into the current class cases.
