We are looking for an experienced and driven Site Transportation Coordinator/Leader for our client in the transportation industry to lead and optimize transportation and logistics flows at our site. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing inbound and outbound shipments, including customs activities, while ensuring compliance with all relevant processes and regulations. You will be part of the Supply Chain department and report to the Site Logistics Operation Manager.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage collaboration with strategic transportation providers and monitor performance and cost efficiency.
- Implement and support global transportation strategies in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of processes, systems, and data for increased operational efficiency.
- Participate in sourcing activities, supplier performance reviews, and transport-related RFP processes.
- Act as the site’s customs point of contact and lead a small team.
**Qualifications**
**Mandatory:**
- University degree in international transport or supply chain. Fluent in English.
- Minimum 5 years in a similar Supply Chain position.
- Proven experience in logistics and 3PL management.
- Good understanding of customs regulations and procedures in the site’s country.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms.
**Desirable:**
- Knowledge of modern principles for efficient transportation management and distribution control.
