We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for our technically specialized DevOps team that drives development and management of the IT department's DevEx tools and adjacent systems - always with a focus on security, stability, and efficient collaboration. About the Job As a Site Reliability Engineer in our DevOps team, you are a key person in developing and operating the shared platform our development teams build upon. You work closely with both infrastructure and developer tools - from build and deployment environments to artifact management, security, and monitoring. By developing, optimizing, and automating solutions, you create a robust and available platform that makes it easier for developers to deliver quickly and securely. We work in an agile manner according to SAFe principles, and in this role, you collaborate with tool developers, product owners, and architects in your own team, as well as with multiple product teams and technical functions within our shared service organization to drive the development of common platform services forward. The role also involves significant responsibility for driving change and continuous improvements - both in daily collaboration with teams and within the broader technical ecosystem. You contribute to the organization working more uniformly, efficiently, and with a focus on stability, security, and developers' needs. Example Tasks: - Develop, maintain, and improve platform components and tools such as build and deployment environments, artifact management, and secure code analysis. - Automate lifecycle management, monitoring, and deployment processes for a stable, secure, and scalable platform. - Collaborate closely with product teams, architects, and other technical functions to create stable and reliable solutions that make a real difference for developers. - Identify and drive technical improvements in the platform regarding stability, monitoring, scalability, and failure management. - Participate in forums and initiatives across team boundaries to develop common standards, processes, and best practices. Your Profile: You are a collaborative and communicative team player who enjoys driving technical initiatives together with colleagues and stakeholders. You are analytical, goal-oriented, and can navigate a complex organization to find the best solutions. You have good technical understanding and can quickly familiarize yourself with both the platform's architecture and the tools and processes developers use. You enjoy working at the intersection of technology and business, and see opportunities to improve automation and stability so that teams can deliver faster and more securely. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has: - Several years of experience working with Linux-based platforms and infrastructure environments, preferably in DevOps or DevEx teams. - Several years of experience with technical troubleshooting and incident management in complex, heterogeneous IT environments. - Good technical understanding and experience collaborating with technically oriented teams, architects, and other stakeholders. - Experience integrating and adapting third-party products for production in the organization's IT environment. - Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Also Meritorious: - Work experience with Linux-based server environments, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux - Work experience with configuration management systems, such as Puppet or Ansible - Work experience with GitOps/X-as-Code - Work experience with artifact management and code quality tools, such as JFrog Artifactory and XRay, or SonarQube - Work experience with scripting languages, preferably Python or Bash - Work experience with container solutions, such as Kubernetes, Helm, or Docker - Experience with monitoring, log management, and incident management, preferably with tools like Elastic-stack, Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus - Experience with backup solutions, such as NFS snapshots, Tivoli Storage Manager, or similar - Experience with databases focusing on troubleshooting, preferably PostgreSQL - Knowledge of infrastructure-related components/protocols, such as file systems like XFS/LVM, network storage like NFS/S3, or network protocols like TCP/UDP - Background in government or public sector What matters most is not just what and how long you've done something, but what you have the ability to do.
